About LevitaCare
LevitaCare is a Danish MedTech company developing a physical support device designed to relieve and support the pelvic floor after vaginal childbirth. The company addresses a large and historically overlooked women’s health challenge: postpartum pelvic floor complications that can lead to long-term discomfort, reduced quality of life, and, in severe cases, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.
Postpartum pelvic floor issues affect a significant share of women, yet available solutions have traditionally focused on rehabilitation long after symptoms arise rather than early support during the critical healing phase following childbirth. LevitaCare is built on the ambition to change this by providing immediate support that creates better conditions for recovery and helps prevent long-term damage.
The solution is grounded in decades of clinical experience within urogynecology and midwifery, combined with structured product development and manufacturing expertise. LevitaCare’s device is developed in close dialogue with women and healthcare professionals to ensure that it is both medically relevant and practical for real-world use.
LevitaCare operates at the intersection of clinical insight and commercial execution. The company is progressing through product development, testing, and regulatory preparation with the ambition of bringing its first product to market in 2026, initially targeting direct-to-consumer and selected healthcare distribution channels.
The founding team combines deep clinical understanding of pelvic floor disorders with hands-on experience from childbirth care and strong capabilities in engineering and commercialization. This multidisciplinary foundation enables LevitaCare to translate clinical insight into a scalable, market-ready MedTech solution addressing an unmet need in women’s health.
